What happens when the act of creating the mark of a woman’s body in the land is the part of the work that is seen, rather than the element that remains unseen? What happens when the woman’s body is trans, rather than cis? When the land is in a heavily-trafficked public space? What are the lines of harmony and dissonance between a piece of earth in a city established to receive ephemeral marks of the body and one established as a mythically unchanging space despite time’s effects on it?
